THE Erick Jason Original
THE FACADE OF THE MARAUDER

Master E -'98
I love my wife with all my heart,
through infatuation and temptation,
till death do us part.
But of late I've been weary
My love she does bore me
My attention is possessed by one who truly adores me...
For some reason my mistress conceals her face.
Why?
What does she hide that would steal her fate?
No matter.
Her identity is irrelevant
for that I don't care~
She offers vivacity in the place of despair!
This fair proposition I cannot refuse
To whom much is given, much is required...
This I failed to construe....
I inquire what of me exactly she requires?
She replied

You'll soon see but the price will be dire!
At that moment the thought of my love manifest,
In her heart burned a phoenix!
This insidiousness... A test?
 I have failed,
for my love is no more.
Emptiness.

The flames strike her like daggers,
she acts above pain,
her strength does not stagger
by my side she'll remain.
I offer escape, but by my side she remains!
Her resilience is torture!
her innocence...-slain

Silence.

Inexplicably the silence wails at me more
than any vengeful words she dare to implore.
I'm bereft of the link to my passion and essence
she forms from the ashes to rise incandescent

My lungs are escaping
my heart serves no function.
On this night I learned much of true love and seduction

silence.

Marauder!
I yelled, for my anger was riled,
you stole my purity, left my temple defiled!

I know now that this thief has deceived me.
I curse her as a demon...
she threatens to leave me.

I contemplate.
The breath of my wife no longer in the balance.
A coward so confident I'd deny it's challenge-

I accept!

My tongue betrays me, my words are mistaken...
Yet increasingly this entity decreases my patience.
Show your self before you flee this place!
Return the plunder you've dared to take!

Silence.

She denies my attempt at confrontation,
aware words would no doubt forfeit her location.
Indeed she bode this sinister invitation,
escape obligation, I gave to temptation!
The place in my soul for righteousness vacant-
If no reparation, I'll have vindication!

AAargghh!

A  fork pierces my belly till it is impaled.
-But I've no time for heaven and no time for hell!
So I'll end this drought with relentless haste
In no thought of consequence,
I quickly give chase!

My heart beat at an accelerated pace,
I see now her shadow yet still not her face...
Untouched by fatigue, unfettered by moral,
a few seconds more and I'll end this quarrel!

Vengeance is a dangerous emotion and
one should look before one leaps...
But I embraced the rage and accepted the hatred-
thrashing her bloody, I stripped her naked.
Look at me, I roared!
Now who is laughing?
But it was she.
The reflection in her eyes was of crimson splashing.
Then it was me-
Dying and lying in the facade of the marauder
 Top of the page.
